George W. Bush Blindsided

RTE’s ‘Prime Time’interview with GWB, with Carole Coleman. The White House didn't like this in in 2004. This is one of my all-time favorite interviews with Dubya. Notice how, in true authoritarian fashion, he uses and abuses the power of his position and a stern "lemme finish please" to prevent any honest or substantive responses to the questioner. It's amazing how off balance and beligerrent he is when someone doesn't throw him predictable softball questions. Wow, what a leader! Great work by the Irish reporter who conducted the interview. It's amazing how odd it looks when any member of this Bush crowd is actually faced with real questioning. I wonder if Coleman has interviewed the Mayberry Machiavellian since this sit-down? --A.P.
