Boxing is back at Mohegan Sun

I hadn't been to a fight there at the Mohegan Sun in quite a while. As a matter of fact, they haven't had any fights there in a while. But last night they broke their streak with a CES Pro-Am show co-featuring Hammerin' Hank Lundy and Shelito Vincent in separate bouts.

KOFantasyBoxing's New League is open!

New Kayo Quick Bucks League is accepting new gym members!

We opened up a new Fantasy Boxing league today on our officially trademarked KOFantasyBoxing game site. The Deadline for this weekend's fight predictions is midnight this Friday night.

We put a lot of work into this site in 2013 and the fall league--our first one back--was pretty successful. We've made a few more changes for this upcoming league, starting with the allotment of free tokens and hopefully there will be more interest.

Pre-Thanksgiving Radio-Spot on Psycho Sports Episode 109

On Wednesday afternoon, just before the Thanksgiving holiday I had the pleasure of being a guest on 990WBOB's Psycho Sports show out of Providence, Rhode Island.

They asked me about Jeff "Left-Hook" Lacy and I gotta admit I didn't even know he had a fight coming up this weekend (Lacy won last night by 3rd TKO) and I kinda babbled my way through it. But I thought what I said about Pacquiao-Mayweather was pretty decent.

Wow, I haven't posted a damn thing on here in one long-ass time. Well, gotta work on changing that.
Here's the latest video editing/voiceover/iMovie video i've made. It's four-minutes and 3 seconds and overall I like how it came out but i need to practice my voice-overs more, make them smoother, and go with a better final recording. This one has a few hiccups. But still enjoying learning new stuff and practicing the things I've learned with the program. Enjoy and feel free to post your comments.

College Boxing Tourney from the Connecticut Woods

2013 National Collegiate Boxing Championships

I had the pleasure of covering the NCBA College Boxing Championships from the Fox Theater at Foxwoods this past Thursday through Saturday. It was an exciting Tourney that showcased some seriously well-conditioned athletes from private universities and military academies all over the USA. It was especially enjoyable for me as I had watched just about all of coverage of the Olympic tourney from London this past summer and enjoyed that. It's very different than professional prize-fighting but if you like the Sweet Science and the many style variations that many different fighters display, i really can't see how you wouldn't dig amateur tourney boxing.
